Kollektsioon: Marta Gotliba
Marta Gotliba sündis 1982. Riias, Lätis.
Kunst on olnud osa minust kogu mu elu alates lapsepõlvest. Minu peamiseks meediumiks on naasmisest saadik olnud värvilised pliiatsid, kuid õlivärvimaalid on mind alati huvitanud, mistõttu hakkasin õlivärvidega tegelema viimastel aastatel. Minu põhirõhk on endiselt lindudel, kuigi aeg-ajalt võtan vastu väljakutseid lemmikloomade või botaaniliste objektide illustreerimisel. Mulle meeldib illustreerida igasuguseid linde ja loodan, et minu kunst aitab inimestel neid ümbritsevaid linde paremini tundma õppida. Olen kirglik linnuvaatleja ja Läti Ornitoloogiaühingu liige.

Marta Gotlība, born in 1982 in Riga, Latvia.
Art has been my passion since childhood. I actively participated in art groups during my school years and pursued my education in the clothing design department at Riga School of Design and Art. I graduated from art school in 2004. However, due to personal reasons, I took a hiatus from the art field for several years. It was only at the end of 2016 that I slowly rekindled my passion for drawing.
Surprisingly, birds captured my interest during this period, despite no apparent reason. I found them intriguing to observe, and the more I watched them, the more fascinated I became. Since my return to art, my primary medium has been colored pencils. Although I've always been intrigued by oil color paintings, in recent years, I've been practicing with oils. While my main focus remains on birds, I occasionally take on challenges in illustrating pets or botanical objects.
I enjoy illustrating various bird species, and I hope that my art can help people become more acquainted with the birds in their surroundings. Additionally, I'm a passionate bird watcher and an member of the Latvian Ornithological Society.
